As the nation prepares for the general election, NWCC opens the season with a program examining our political voices and what it means to be a citizen. Featuring members of North Corner Chamber Orchestra (NOCCO), this concert offers regional premieres of works by David Lang: the national anthems and statement to the court. Audiences will enjoy musical pieces spanning seven centuries by such diverse names as Guillaume de Machaut, Joel Thompson, and Johannes Brahms.

There will be a pre-concert talk with Artistic Director Jeremy Edelstein starting at 2:30pm. Jeremy will share his inspiration for this concert and the meaning behind the repertoire.
